Niki Dinsey
Job Title: Director
Niki Dinsey has been in the IT industry since 1995. The first half of his career was spent in the telecommunications sector. In the late nineties Niki worked for Orange Communications in Bristol working on SAP Enterprise.
Orange was brought out in 1999 and Niki moved back to Oxford and began working for CSW in 2000. Since then Niki’s fallen under the XML spell and has worked on a large number of web application contracts. Some of the highlights are:
In 2000/1 Niki was given the role of programming and technical lead developing an XML content management web application and delivery portal for BBC Monitoring in Caversham, Reading.
In 2002 Niki worked with the United Nations FAO on an early Web Services implementation that was showcased at WWW2002 conference in Hawaii. The architecture allowed over 200 disparate UN databases to be interrogated real-time and collated in one application faceplate.
In 2004/5 Niki managed an internal research department, with a small team of highly talented programmers and consultants. Research defined technology direction for CSW’s flagship products Case Notes and KMS.
In 2006 Niki has been tasked with running CSW Informatics, a wholly owned subsidiary of CSW Group, taking the existing experienced Research team and making their services available to the public.
In his spare time Niki fits in a few computer games, World of Warcraft being particularly addictive waste of time, but all this has recently changed since the arrival his first child Amelia.
