Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant

Bilal Baig has worked with XML technologies for 6 years as a developer and a consultant. He dabbled a bit in oil industry and research after his electrical engineering before he started his M.Sc. in Management of Information Systems from London School of Economics. After his masters he started working with RivCom which later became part of CSW Group. During this time he has worked for clients like Shell, NHS, Sun Microsystems, and BMJ. His main skills include XML (XSLT, XML Schema, XSL-FO, XQuery, XForms, TopicMaps and SVG), Web publishing (HTML, JSP, ASP, CSS, and JavaScript), HL7, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and UML. Recent projects include online forms generation toolkit for non-technical staff, and round tripping XML data to and from Microsoft Word.

He is a very keen follower of cricket and formula 1 racing. Whatever spare time is left from work, and watching sports on TV, he can be found in front of his computer playing Command and Conquer.
